About
My photography is born from listening;
Before taking a photograph, I seek a relationship with what is in front of me: a person, a place, a detail, a silence. I believe that every subject has something to say, and that my task is to stay long enough to hear it.
Sometimes, however, it is the instant that guides me: a changing light, a gesture that lasts only a breath, a presence that suddenly reveals itself. In those moments I do not think — I respond. Because the fleeting moment has its own truth, and recognizing it is part of the same act of listening.
I am not interested only in formal beauty, but in what vibrates beneath the surface: memory, symbol, transition, the spirit of the moment. My images often speak of slow time and of thresholds, of what remains even when everything seems to be moving.
I often work with analog photography because this process reflects who I am: observing, choosing, waiting. Every frame is a conscious decision, not an automatic sequence. I accept imperfection as part of the truth of the instant, because that is often where the soul of a photograph hides.
My gaze is nourished by nature, ancient myths, symbols, and inner journeys. I feel closer to being a visual storyteller than a simple image technician: for me, photography is a threshold, a doorway between what we see and what we feel.
If there is something I wish to leave with those who look at my images, it is not only an aesthetic impression, but a resonance — something that lingers, like the memory of a dream or of a place where, somehow, we have already been.
